Hi I'm Jon from the Chicago area. Currently work in autobody/customizing cars, looking to start wraps. Took a short training class and looking to wrap my own truck. Found a printer to work with me (dont have to make printer investment right off) but need to know what is the recomended software for designing. Obviously photoshop, how about templates? anything else? thanks for any help

Welcome Jon
Everyone you ask will probably give you a different answer as to what software is best. I used Corel for years (and sometimes still do) When I purchased Photoshop.....wow what a learning curve! But I have come to use it for most everything wrap related now. By no means am I an expert (or even advanced user) but everytime I open it up, I learn how to do something a little different. I also use vector based sign software in some cases. Without spending a million dollars on software, maybe look for demos or someone willing to let you use their design station to "play" a little. Templates can be purchased or made, with a little effort.
